Konstantine's Greek Taverna

We had Dinner at Konstantines a week ago on a Thursday. We were seated at their covered patio and enjoyed the great atmosphere, the view over the lawn towards the pond is awesome. The Food and Service was good, while both leave a bit of room for improvements. We went at 6pm and the Restaurant filled up quickly, and that's were Service also started to slow down, especially when larger tables ordered cocktails, it seemed that the Barkeeper couldn't keep up anymore preparing any other drinks. Overall, we had a great evening and enjoyed the food and we will definitely come back.

The trifecta- excellent menu, excellent service, and my idea of a perfect atmosphere. The Avgolemono soup was comforting, the flavors well balanced. The green beans with tomatoes were just like my YiaYia used to make, delicious. And the Pastitio may have been the best I've ever tasted. Generous portions, but you better believe I ate all the Pastitio anyway, I couldn't stop! My boyfriend ordered the meatball appetizer, tasty with a little kick, tender inside and firm on the outside, served with pita bread and dip. The salmon disappeared off his plate, he loved the flavor and how tender it was. The Greek potatoes were a lovely complement, and the asparagus beautifully cooked, delicate tender spears. Our server Leah was knowledgeable and attentive, and asked all the right questions to ensure we'd enjoy everything we ordered. Every staff member we encountered was polite and friendly, very customer service oriented, and a family-owned vibe. The building is historic, and the decor is subtle and comfortable, right down to the temperature of the room (not cold!). The space is not large and yet I felt like we were in a private room. And the exterior was incredibly charming, decorated for fall with plenty of great photo ops if you're there to celebrate an occasion. There were even real jack-o-lanterns for a comical twist! Ample parking, and what looked like a great outdoor space- but it was too chilly to experience that part. For those that are not interested in Greek cuisine, there are other options on the menu. Overall, very well done, and I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I joined another couple and thoroughly enjoyed our experience for lunch. It was the first time for my wife and me, and we just agreed that we must go back before too long. The food was exquisite and service friendly, if a little slow. (May have been understaffed.) But no worries because the last thing we wanted was any rush at all anyway! Thank you!

They seated us without a reservation, but one is highly recommended on the weekend. The food was very good and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend the Spanakopita small plate. I was disappointed in the Greek salad as it was Americanized and not traditional Greek (which means no lettuce). Thank you for the quick reply and correction Konstantine staff! I will most assuredly try your Village Salad (the true Greek salad of the country) on our next visit.
